About the speakers: Laura Beken, Reo Carr As Editor-in-Chief, Reo oversees news and production operations for the San Diego Business Journal. As Corporate Vice President of Digital Media, Reo leads the online and digital media efforts for four California Business Journal publications including the development of new media and social media products. A journalist for more than 25 years, Reo has focused his career on business reporting and editing. The newspapers he has lead as an editor and publisher have won numerous local, regional and national awards. Annual Year-End Celebration and Social Our annual end-of-the-year celebration! Please join us for the annual Publishers and Writers of San Diego Holiday Party, in the Community Room at the Encinitas Library. Holiday music will be provided by Marie Haddad, and we will serve light refreshements. Please bring a copy of your book to display, and a book to donate to Traveling Stories, a nonprofit that sets up libraries in third-world countries (www.travelingstories.org).
