questions about anything in the publishing process and we will brainstorm them
together. Use the expertise and wisdom of the group to clear up any issues you might
have. Also share what’s worked for you, and what hasn’t. This is a community meeting,
showcasing the best of PWSD – our collective knowledge and experience.

About the Moderator:
Karla Olson is the Publisher at Patagonia, which publishes books as a mission
outreach for Patagonia, the clothing company. She is the past chair of IBPA,
president of IBPA affiliates Publishers and Writers of San Diego and
Publishers and Writers of Orange County. She has been in the publishing
industry for over 40 years and is the owner of BookStudio, a publishing
